We have Lead Designer post for an ambitious UX and Service Designer who thrives on strategic and effective problem solving to work as one of the founding members of the Experience Team within a Global Digital Agency.

You will play an instrumental role in cementing strategy in their existing agency process, will head up a constant stream of challenging briefs and work alongside two inspirational UX Directors in building and nurturing a team.

This would be an ideal next step for a UX Designer that has built 3 years + experience in agency or consultancy to step up into a leadership role.

The basics:

Location: Central London (part time on site/part time remote)

Salary: up to £75K

The aim is to work across devices, platforms and all digital touch-points to design and deliver bold and innovative solutions for a client list that ranges from ecommerce to healthcare.

There is a constant flow of challenges and therefore we need innovative creatives that are versatile and adaptable.

Basic requirements:

Be an experienced UX or Service Design practitioner and a recognized thought leader, with a portfolio of relevant and recent product and service design work for leading national/international brands
Be a strong design generalist with theoretical knowledge, and practical experience related to information-, interaction-, and visual-design across a variety of devices, touch-points, and experience domains
Be well-versed in a wide variety of modern design research methods (e.g., ethnographic)
Have demonstrable experience helping global brands design and deliver digital products and services
Have a strong desire to co-create (with clients and internal teams), and experience working in this way
Have a keen eye for detail, a strong visual design aesthetic, and at least 1 fine art specialty or advanced interest (e.g., photography, illustration)
