Who they need: A hands-on Design Lead / Creative Director that has built a number of years partnering firms in realising their ambitions not only from a Brand perspective but the way they creatively approach all future products, platforms and overall business offerings. In short they need a:

Initial requirement: This role will be tasked initially with their brand audit, this will cover elements of user research but first and foremost this is focused on the future visual direction of the company and their products and can work alongside a specialist UX Researcher. All design will then be conceptualised and steered by this role overseeing internal and external design resource. Over time this will lead through to the ongoing brand, product and service design requirements of the company.
Future day to day needs:
Work with the product and development teams to understand design requirements and create wireframes to high fidelity designs
Manage the overall design timeline to ensure development can be planned accordingly
Create high fidelity designs across our range of business and client-facing products
Define the style guides and a consistent design language across our products
Implement the latest design thinking into innovative products based on AI technology, big data and finance.
We Require the Following:
Experience working as a lead designer for products from the point of conception till execution
Experience creating designs for multiple products in parallel
Experience working in an agile (Scrum) environment in parallel with developers and product teams
Experience designing both business and customer-facing products
Experience designing dashboards
Experience in data visualisation and analytics
A strong applied knowledge of user experience
Experience designing products for both desktop and mobile
Confidence to work autonomously - to question design briefs until you feel confident in the requirements
A strong sense of teamwork, with the capacity to be flexible and practical
Salary: £84K + with bonus and shares.
